Snacking is great as long as you make conscious effort to make it healthy. Meaning, if you must eat snacks in between meals, then check in with your body for what it needs at that particular time, and indulge it in fruits, nuts and vegetable snacks. I hear you, Vegetables?! Yes! Carrot, cucumber, garden egg are some types of vegetables that you can snack on, eaten fresh ( after a good cleaning with water and/or white vinegar), to maximize all the vitamins, minerals and water in them. Of course, you can also snack on grilled or baked nuts of all types as a healthy source of protein. What about fresh or freeze-dried fruits! Yeah, those can be stored and eaten whenever you’re in need of some carbohydrates, minerals and vitamins snacks.
So snack on!
