Yes! Yes! and Yes! is my answer to if practicing Holistic Healthcare is worth it. Now, let us try to understand what Holistic Healthcare is all about.

If you are currently in the habit of taking care of your body, mind, spirit, and emotions in terms of Health and Wellness focused care, here are three claps šššĀ for you! This is generally the focus of the Holistic Healthcare approach to achieving optimal health. Holistic Healthcare is also a belief that all parts of a person’s life are interconnected ( just take a look at a picture of the human anatomy) one way or the other. Here are five key tenets of Holistic Healthcare to help you understand more of why my answer is Yes above.

Spirit, mind, body, and diet parts of Holistic Healthcare
1. It involves taking full responsibility of your own well-being.
2. It involves placing special emphasis on health prevention and wellness ( this is the main theme of my website and blogs), rather than waiting to have a disease and just treating the symptoms.
3. When the disease unavoidably does occur, it is best to treat the person and not just the disease.
4. For treatment and as the need arises, to seek proper professional guidance & education to explore both conventional ( Orthodox) and approved alternative treatment options.
5.Ā It involves the need to consider all aspects of your life that may or could impact your health always.
In effect, Holistic Healthcare Practitioners use Orthodox medical treatment, diet, exercise, stress reduction, Acupuncture, herbal medicine, massage, meditation, yoga as appropriate to manage their patients.
It is very important that at all times, you should let your Healthcare provider know what other alternative or Holistic Healthcare activities you are doing or consuming in addition to what has been prescribed for your ailment as you do not want any unwanted interactions that could cause health complications, instead of improving your health.
Cheers and live healthy daily.
