We get so busy running around to make ends meet, we forget to slow down and check-in on how we are really feeling from head to toes.

How do I do this? You may ask. Here are some simple things to do daily to check in on yourself like you would on a friend.
1. Sit still and feel yourself. Do you notice any unusual pain, tension, headache, unexplained emotional feelings. Check or review your day to see if you can attribute or relate those feelings to any occurrence, what you ate or drank or any specific activity during the day.
2. Check your Blood Pressure (BP) with an arm cuff BP measuring device after resting for an hour or more. Note, you should have this equipment at home. It’s relatively affordable at any pharmacy store near you or online stores.
3. Is your body calling for some exercise, but you just don’t have time for it?
4 Are you hydrated and rested enough?
Take necessary corrective actions to put yourself back in a feel good place. Such actions could be but not limited to, drink enough water, rest or sleep, socialize with friends who bring out the best in you, see your health care provider. Don’t just ignore these negative feelings, do something about them.
For me; when tensed for known or unknown reasons, a 20 to 30 minutes walk and inhaling a lot of fresh smelling natural air does some magic to take me back to a feel-good place.
I hope you find something that works for you.
Cheers and live healthy daily.
