Secret to drinking adequate water daily.

You are already aware that to maintain good hydration for your body’s systems, you need to drink about 2 to 3 liters of water as a minimum, and depending on if you are a female or male, based on the human body structure and needs.

Now, we all know that does not sound like a fun activity; for crying out loud, water is tasteless and only enjoyable when you are really thirsty!

This blog is to help you achieve this on a daily basis and on an almost auto pilot without thinking too much about it. Who knows, you may already be achieving this water quantity intake goal per day for your optimal health and wellness.

Let us break this down using three ( 3 ) liters per day as our bench mark for example.

1 glass cup of water = 240ml

12 glass cups of water = 12 × 240 = 2880 ml which is approximately 3litres, because 1000ml = 1ltr.

Therefore, how do we get to consume 12 glass cups of water per day?

  1. When you eat breakfast try drinking 1 glass  cup with your meal and 1 glass cup before launch  = 2 glass cups.
  1. When you eat lunch try drinking 3 glass cups with your meal and 2 glass cups before dinner = 5 glass cups.
  1. When you eat dinner try drinking 2 glass cups with your meal and only 1 glass cup before bedtime, to avoid unnecessary sleep interruption to go to the bathroom. = 3 glass cups.

Total glass cups of water  taken with meals for the day = 10 

Now, you have 2 more glass cups to go. 

This balance you can get from water in the food you eat. An average of 200 to 300ml of water is available per meal depending on how much liquid is in the meal. For example, soups, vegetables, fruits versus sandwiches, pastries, core solid foods like carbohydrates, proteins and fats.

So using the lowest value of 200ml per meal multiply by 3 meals a day gives 600ml which is about 2 and half glasses of water!

As you can see you can achieve this goal of 12 to 15 glass cups equivalent to about 2 to 3 liters of water daily without too much trouble. Best to drink water as it is, but if you need some motivation then flavor your water with a few drops of lemon or natural fruit juice and your body systems will thank you daily for this.
